About the University

Atlantic Technological University is a multi-campus public technological university in the west and northwest of Ireland, officially established on 1 April 2022 through the merger of the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology Sligo and Letterkenny Institute of Technology. It serves over 20,000 students across eight or nine campuses in Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Donegal, offering more than 600 undergraduate to doctoral programmes with a strong emphasis on applied learning, research engagement and industry collaboration that prepares graduates for careers in a range of sectors.
